How It Works

The Meeting Schedule

SPATEC takes place in an exclusive venue away from the pressures of the office and the stress of trade shows.

  • Upon registration, you will receive a password to access the event website where you will post your company profile and contact details. Buyers' profiles will include details of projected spending budgets and other valuable market information. All this information is collated into a hard copy directory given to all delegates.
  • Using the information provided in the event directory, each delegate is asked to select the companies they wish to meet.
  • A personal meeting schedule is then created for each company based upon both buyer and supplier requests.

The Format

  • Each supplier is allocated a meeting table in a conference room where all meetings take place over two days. The buyers go from meeting point to meeting point according to their schedule.
  • Each meeting lasts 20 minutes.
  • There will also be two, one hour 'supplier showcase' sessions before lunch on both meeting days. This will allow the buyers to visit other suppliers not on their schedules in a free and relaxed fashion with no set meeting times, exhibition style.
  • There are a total of up to 22 meetings organised within the official programme over the two days.

The Networking

As well as the face-to-face meetings, attendees network during the breakfasts, lunches and dinners with further networking opportunities during the team building event and social programme.

The ratio of buyers to suppliers is strictly controlled and the number of suppliers attending from each category is also limited. This ensures that SPATEC provides the maximum business opportunities whilst retaining a unique atmosphere in which to develop strong business relationships.

The Supplier Showcase

On both days a 'Supplier Showcase' session will take place prior to lunch. During this time buyers will be free to move between the supplier tables and exhibits as an open forum - exhibition style
