Two full days of one-on-one meetings between senior executive club and leisure centre operators and leading national and international supplier companies. These meetings are pre-selected by the delegates, are 20 minutes in length and take place at designated meeting points.
Throughout the event, attendees meet each other through the official meeting programme as well as during the breakfasts, lunches and dinners and other networking activities.
Suppliers visit with buyers of their choice for short, targeted meetings. This speed-dating programme allows suppliers to supplement their one-on-one meetings by simply going to any buyer's table of interest for a maximum of five minutes each. This can develop into later conversations and the building or cementing of business relationships. This is a way to maximise the contacts at SIBEC and develop longer-term relationships.
The concept of SIBEC was created by McLean Events in 1996 through a series of highly focused industry forums for senior executives and leading suppliers from specific markets, wishing to talk business in a more focused fashion. Meeting in 5-star facilities away from the distractions of trade shows and conferences, make these forums uniquely different and today are regarded as the premier industry events within their respective markets.
The SIBEC brand has been established since 1997 when the first SIBEC was launched in the UK. Since then SIBEC has also established itself in North America, Europe and Asia.
