SIBEC North America is a one-on-one meeting forum between Owners, Operators, CEO's & COO's of health, recreation, sports & fitness organizations and leading executives from national and international supplier companies from the following categories:

One-On-One Meetings

SIBEC 2007 will bring together over 60 of America's leading club operators and owners to meet with 60 key domestic and international suppliers to participate in a series of one-on-one meetings over two dedicated business days.

Both buyers and suppliers get to choose who they would like to meet with and are each given a schedule of meetings. Each meeting is 20 minutes in length and takes place at the buyer meeting tables. These pre-arranged one-on-one meetings allow delegates to talk business and network in a way that is simply not possible with trade shows and conferences.

Networking Program

Throughout the event, attendees meet each other through the official meeting program as well as during the breakfasts, lunches, dinners and other networking activities.

Business Speed-Dating

For a full hour, suppliers visit with buyers of their choice for short, targeted meetings. This speed-dating program allows suppliers to supplement their one-on-one meetings by simply going to any buyer's table of interest to them.

The Concept

The concept of SIBEC North America was created by McLean Events in 1996 through a series of highly focused industry forums for senior executives and leading suppliers from specific markets, wishing to talk business in a more focused fashion. Meeting in 5-star facilities away from the distractions of trade shows and conferences, make these forums uniquely different and today are regarded as the premier industry events within their respective markets.

The SIBEC brand has been established since 1996 when the first SIBEC was launched in the UK. Since then SIBEC has also established itself in North America, Europe and Asia.
