A forum for the North American hotel industry.
In 2012 HOTEC Operations, the 9th annual meeting forum for the Hospitality Industry, will EXPAND to HOTEC Operations & Technology.
This a very unique opportunity to build relationships with some of the key decision makers in a relaxed environment conducive to business discussions in a series of one-on-one meetings.
The 3-day forum consists of a series of pre-scheduled appointments, with numerous networking opportunities to do business and exchange ideas with the leaders in the market who influence the future of the hospitality industry.
All attendees stay at the same 5-star resort so you network during the breakfasts, lunches and dinners with further networking opportunities during the vendor showcase and social program.
In 2012, HOTEC Operations will expand to include all elements (all products and services categories) of hotel operations, as well as all aspects of technology in a hotel environment.
We will continue to include categories such as mini-bars, in-room safes, hotel apparel and footwear, bath & bed linens, in-room amenities (robes, slippers, coffee makers, hair dryers) as well as hotel corridor and lobby signage/way-finding, bathroom/plumbing fixtures, beds/mattresses, tableware, housekeeping & maintenance, etc.
The technology category includes operational technology aspects-PMS, POS, CRM, digital signage, hotel security and safety technology, energy management systems, etc as well as technology as it pertains to guest amenities in both the public spaces as well as guest suites and guest bathrooms. This will include, but will not be limited to, guest in-room entertainment and public space entertainment.
The titles of buyers will expand in 2012 as well. At the Corporate level, titles will include Operations Manager, Head of Procurement, CIO, CTO, IT Director. At the hotel property level, titles will include hotel owners/operators, General Managers. We will also include the top hotel management companies and the top OS&E procurement companies.
The buyers will be carefully selected and pre-qualified, ensuring that they have active projects on which they are working and that they are the KEY decision makers. This will ensure that your dollars are being well-spent on your meetings.
The ratio of buyers to vendors is strictly controlled. The number of suppliers attending from each category is also limited to ensure limited competition and a wide range of products and service.
75 senior decision makers
85 vendor companies

The concept of HOTEC North America was created by Questex-Mclean in 1996 through a series of highly focused industry forums for senior executives and leading suppliers from specific markets, wishing to talk business in a more focused fashion.
Meeting in 5 star facilities away from the distractions of trade shows, made these forums uniquely different and today they are regarded as the premier industry events within their respective markets.
Questex-Mclean was launched in Europe in 1996 and the concept was then introduced in Asia in 2001 followed by North America and the Middle East in 2004.
Great momentum is building for our event being held next February 15-18, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay in CA!
