• 2011 Panel Discussion: Topic and Speakers Announced

  The HOTEC Middle East 2011 Panel Discussion will focus on the Lessons Learnt through Recovery from the Recession and will be chaired by Louise Oakley - Editor of Hotelier Middle East magazine. We will be privy to the expert opinions of Fawas Dadis - Corporate Vice President of Materials Management at Rotana Hotel Management Corportation, Mubashar Shahab - Corporate Director of Procurement at Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, Daniel Hajjar - CEO of Layia Hospitality and Fraser Allen, Project Director of the Trademark Group. Each will present their opinions on the lessons learnt through recovery from the recession, then we will open to discussion with the HOTEC Middle East 2011 delegates.

• Keynote Speaker Announced: Guy Wilkinson

  Guy returns to the platform of keynote speaker with a new topic for this year's HOTEC Middle East delegates; Insights into the Hotel Development Process. Guy will explain the key steps in developing a hotel concept from blank sheet to architectural brief. A full synopsis will be provided in the event directory, but we are very happy to welcome Guy back as our keynote speaker.

• NEW at HOTEC Middle East 2011

  This year we have made some important changes to the event format, based on feedback and suggestions received from our supplier and buyer partners. These changes were successfully implemented at HOTEC Design North America in June and at HOTEC Asia 2010 last October.
