What is HOTEC Europe?

HOTEC Europe is a highly focused hotel industry forum for senior executives wishing to talk business in a more targeted fashion.

The unique one-to-one meeting forum brings together purchasing, operations and technical directors of leading hotel chains, to meet by appointment with the industry's leading national and international supplier companies over three days.

HOTEC is regarded by the market leaders as the industry's premier event.

The first HOTEC forum was launched in 1998 in Europe and is now also established in Asia, Middle East and in North America.

Face to Face Meetings

HOTEC Europe 2008 will bring together international hotel chains and suppliers to participate in a series of face-to-face meetings over two dedicated business days. Over 2000 organised business meetings will be conducted. The most senior executives talk business, exchange views and network in a way that is simply not possible with traditional exhibitions and conferences.

Supplier Showcase

On the second day a one hour Supplier Showcase takes place in a separate room. Each supplier has a table. Buyers and suppliers are free to meet delegates that they did not have pre-booked on their schedules.

The suppliers’ profiles will cover over 40 different categories.

A Review of HOTEC Europe 2008

October 17-20 marked the ninth European HOTEC event; it brought together buyers and suppliers in an innovative three-day program of one-to-one meetings, allowing delegates to talk business and network with their peers in a way that is simply not possible with traditional trade shows and conferences.

This year's event hosted 100 key companies covering over 40 product categories. Ninety buyers from all facets and areas of hospitality sat for 20 minutes with each requested product supplier gaining insight and sharing knowledge. Each day was planned in a way that allowed attendees to meet, either through arranged meetings or through some of the special team building activities and meals.

A great event for meeting new and existing suppliers in a relaxed and business like atmosphere.

    Following a successful HOTEC event in Prague, preparations are in full swing for HOTEC EU 2008 which will be held in Split Croatia from the 15th to the 18th October. This will mark a special occasion for HOTEC as this will be our 10th Year Anniversary HOTEC Europe.
