HOTEC Europe is a highly focused hotel industry forum for senior executives wishing to talk business in a more targeted fashion.
The unique one-to-one meeting forum brings together purchasing, operations and technical directors of leading hotel chains, to meet by appointment with the industry's leading national and international supplier companies over three days.
HOTEC is regarded by the market leaders as the industry's premier event.
The first HOTEC forum was launched in 1998 in Europe and is now also established in Asia, Middle East and in North America.
HOTEC Europe 2007 will bring together international hotel chains and suppliers to participate in a series of face-to-face meetings over two dedicated business days. Over 2000 organised business meetings will be conducted. The most senior executives talk business, exchange views and network in a way that is simply not possible with traditional exhibitions and conferences.
On the second day a one hour Supplier Showcase takes place in a separate room. Each supplier has a table. Buyers and suppliers are free to meet delegates that they did not have pre-booked on their schedules.

October 4-7 marked the eight European HOTEC event; it brought together buyers and suppliers in an innovative three-day program of one-to-one meetings, allowing delegates to talk business and network with their peers in a way that is simply not possible with traditional trade shows and conferences.
This year's event hosted 100 key companies covering over 30 product categories. Eighty buyers from all facets and areas of hospitality sat for 20 minutes with each requested product supplier gaining insight and sharing knowledge. Each day was planned in a way that allowed attendees to meet, either through arranged meetings or through some of the special team building activities and meals.

The HOTEC Europe 2006 forum was opened with an inspirational talk from Roger Black MBE. For 14 years Roger Black represented Great Britain at the highest level in the world of athletics, both as an individual 400 metres runner and as a member of the 4 x 400 metres relay team. He won 15 major Championship medals including European, Commonwealth, and World Championship medals.
Roger Black’s presentation motivated everyone at HOTEC to achieve the very best results from their meetings during the event and many delegates remarked that it was an experience that will remain in their thoughts for a very long time.
The programme for next year will be announced early 2007.
With over four months remaining, 130 suppliers from 100 supplier companies have confirmed their attendance for HOTEC Europe 07 in Prague.
