I was initially concerned that the event would be too high powered with big spenders and a lot of pressure to buy. This was the first year that Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education was represented at SIBEC UK. The event provided an excellent opportunity for buyers and suppliers to meet in comfortable surroundings to discuss mutual interest in their products or services. Although these meant the days were pressurised merely by the amount of contacts made, this proved to be beneficial in terms of cost of purchases and savings to be made. Follow up meeting have been arranged and therefore these become more focused and efficient as there is a joint interest in the product or service. A very hectic, effective and pleasurable two days.
